On the palate, the wine is dense and structured with good grip. Flavors of fresh blackberry and black licorice unfold alongside notes of pencil shavings, graphite, and subtle fennel. The purity of fruit is evident, balanced by firm, mouth-coating tannins. The finish is long and persistent, expanding in the back of the mouth with a mouthwatering salinity that is both savory and succulent—evoking the natural freshness of ripe fruit...
